      QA Analyst Interview

      Jun 14, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Gainesville, GA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at M3 (Gainesville, GA) in Jun 2015

      Interview

Very quick and easy interview. The questions were easy, i.e. write a simple SQL statement. The interviewers were not able to answer some of my basic questions about structure and experience. They did answer some questions, although the interviewers were mostly looking for direction from me. Knowledge of the interviewers in my sector was minimal.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Write a simple SQL statement. Difference between regression and defect testing.

Thanks for the positive review - maybe we need to find out who you interviewed with and make sure candidates are meeting the right people to get questions answered! If you want to come talk with me, please do!

      Quality Assurance Analyst Interview

      Aug 16, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Gainesville, GA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at M3 (Gainesville, GA) in Jul 2015

      Interview

I saw the opening online, and emailed my resume. Four days later, got an email asking for a phone interview with HR, which I had that day. Answered email questions, and 3 says later, had another phone interview, with the supervisor. My in-person interview was on the 12th day. I got an offer on the 17th day, for $60k, which is low for my experience. The 5% 401k match makes up some of it. They promise an employee incentive program, effective after 15 months tenure - but wouldn't say how much the position usually gets, and wouldn't pay a signing bonus to cover the 15 months. Everyone I talked to was very nice. All the employees seemed happy. Nice sized cubes. Attached parking deck.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is difference between Retesting and Regression testing? Provide an example of a simple SQL query. Why is regression testing important? What determines the criteria for the steps and expected results of a test case?

Just a quick explanation - the incentive plan is discretionary and the amount is determined by the available pool of money in profits and by the number of employees in the plan - so the amounts vary and we don't want to make promises of $ amounts - we don't want to lead you on.
