I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MAERSK (Pune) in Feb 2022
Interview
If you want to leave yourself hanging, then by all means apply for a job at Maersk.
An HR approached me on LinkedIn and asked me if I was interested in the role of UI Engineer. I said I was and was given a technical assignment which required a lot of time and effort. I completed the assignment pouring all my heart into it to make sure it was as perfect as possible and submitted it back to the HR. After a couple of days, I got a call from the HR that my assignment was accepted and had gone through to the next round which was a technical interview.
The technical interview happened a couple of days later and focused on my JavaScript knowledge. The interview went on for nearly 45 minutes wherein the interviewer asked more than 25 questions and I answered all but a couple of questions correctly. I was confident I had made through to the next round but to my utter bemusement and frustration, I got an email from the HR later that day saying that I was rejected. Naturally, I was dejected and asked for a detailed feedback of why I didn't make it through but my words fell on deaf ears.
A message to the hiring team: us candidates put a lot of time and effort in the interview process so the decent thing to do is atleast give an honest feedback after the interview.
