It was the most unprofessional interview process to date; the first interview went great the interviewers seemed genuinely lovely. But the problems began trying to arrange the second interview, they made multiple cancellations and generally seemed very unprofessional.
I was told to wait for a second interview date which I received via email and when I confirmed that I can attend the date I never got a response back to confirm the interview so emailed several times for confirmation as the date for the interviewing was closing by. But got an email several days later saying that they don’t have any interview slots available which is strange to say the least as they gave me a slot nevertheless, I confirmed which dates I am available and tried to arrange something but again no response for days. Then I received another email this time saying they will let me know when they can arrange one. A few days later I receive another email this time stating they have interviewed this week, so if one of those candidates are successful then they will be moving along with them. Over the years I’ve done many interviews myself and normally during a recruitment you would give all the candidates a fair chance and an opportunity, not go ahead with the first person they like and just ignore the rest of the interviews. The whole point of interviews is to pick the best candidate for the position not to just get someone in quickly and waste the other candidates time as many people have to take a day off from their current works and spend money on transport to get there. Moo without a doubt have staff who don’t know what the hiring process is.
