The interview process was fairly straight forward
1. HR call
2. 60 min hacker rank
3. Technical Interview with mostly scenario-like questions
4. Team fit interview with some technical-ish questions
5. Offer
The interviews themselves went great; it was actually really pleasant experience, kudos to the team.
The offer process however should be improved:
- I was informed by HR only after the 4th round that it's a 1-year contract, I think it should have been the most important information and should have been included either in the job description or during the 1st round of talks.
- Salary. HR ask you in your 1st round what your range is. You tell them X to Z. Then the offer comes back X - 10% with no negotiation opportunity at all, take it or leave it.
