I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Macy's
Interview
This process started with an information session on my college campus.
After submitting my resume, I was called back for the first round of interviews. This consisted 2 interviews. The first was a behavioral interview, where the interviewers asked questions like "Name a time where you had to make a difficult, last minute decision, and what were the results?" For the second interview, you are placed in a fictional situation where you must decide what the best managerial approach would be.
After making it through the first round, I was invited to the final round of interviews in Miami, FL. (They called it the "On-Site" event; all expenses paid) At this event, there were students from all over Florida and Georgia. This was a 2-day event. The first day was very informational and included dinner at a nice Italian restaurant in Downtown Miami. The second day was the BIG day. We were split up into four groups of 8 people. There were four interview sessions; each involving a different activity.
Overall, a very nice experience! All of the executives are extremely helpful and always willing to give good advice.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There weren't any extremely difficult questions. Just do good research on common behavioral questions.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
