Interview
I applied online via Macysjobs.com on Thursday, I received an email the next day (Friday) saying I was invited to interview and told to select an interview time. I went in for my interview on today (Monday) and was pretty much asked all of the questions listed on glassdoor (and thanks to glassdoor, I did exceptionally well on them). At the conclusion of the interview I was offered a position as a ringer in cosmetics, I accepted and I'm going back on Wednesday to do paper work.
All the staff I encountered were exceptionally nice and welcoming. There was also a girl there training and I witnessed them interact with her very well.

Interview
I had an over the phone interview. It was about 5 questions..didn't take more than 15 minutes. I was offered the job on the phone. They hire a company to make the calls, so the woman wasn't a Macy's employee. You just need to tell them what they want to hear.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Albany, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
Very basic interview, quick and simple. It only took about 7-10 minutes before I was offered a position. Questions were what I expected after reviewing Glass Door.
Questions were about things like making initial contact with customer, if I ever saw anyone doing something unethical and how I handled it, and how to make add-on sales.
