I applied online and was told to schedule an interview. I was coming from out of state (the location was a place I planned on moving to) and took a bus to get there. Due to traffic, what should have been a three hour ride, became four hours, so I was 20 min late to my appointment (and since everything was done online, I had no way of contacting the interviewers). When I arrived, I explained the situation, but they refused to see me and said I had to reschedule online to a different available day. Four hours to see them specially, and they turned me away. Even if it wouldn't have been a huge inconvenience for me to reschedule, I wouldn't have, since they are obviously missing their humanity with all this online stuff.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Basic questions such as relevant tasks you did in previous jobs, ability to decipher blueprints and handle tools, climb ladders and be punctual, availability is key. Flexibility. What are your short and long term goals, why do I want to work at Macy’s

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY) in Dec 2022
Interview
Three intensive interviews, and a practical demonstration of my skillset, separated by some nerve wracking time in-between, quite a long process, very competitive as to be expected with such a prestigious well respected sought after employer.

Question 1
How I would demonstrate display various themes, convey various moods.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Boston, MA) in Oct 2021
Interview
The interviewer was very condescending and tried to argue with me about my work experience. Even though I applied for a merchandising position, she recommended me to work another job I had no interest in. Seeing how the interviewer was very unprofessional with me, I wouldn’t have accepted any job they would’ve offered me.

Question 1
“Did you apply to this position just because you were looking for a job?”
