Arrived about 10 minutes early for my interview. Had to wait a few minutes as it seemed like they were scrambling to find the person to interview me. Went into a conference room for my one on one interview. The manager was very nice. It was the easiest interview I have ever had in my life. There wasn't any of the typical Macy's interview questions like those seen in this site. As a matter fact there wasn't really any questions from the manager. Basically it was telling me about the position, the hours and the pay which was very low (50 cents over minimum wage minus taxes equals not worth it. Not a winning formula at all). Apparently the position was only for the holiday season and not a permanent part-time position. The interview lasted about 10-15 minutes which I ultimately did not accept because it was only seasonal and the pay was so low.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Bronx, NY) in Dec 2010
Interview
After getting a letter from them showing interest in meeting with me to further discuss employment opportunities. i confirm them. and been there for interview but i am really disappointed about the interview process and after taking interview they says that they are full since 10th dec and our interview was in 14th dec. It was just wast of time.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Flushing, NY) in May 2010
Interview
The interview was easy and the woman who interviewed me was very nice. The questions were very simple and did not ask for too much. There were questions about customer service (What would you do if.) I was told after the interview that the position I had applied for had already been filled, and that I would be called in a couple of weeks if there were any openings.
