Madewell interview questions

Applied through their website. Got a phone call from the manager inviting me for a group interview a few days later. There was 7 of us in the interview. Just got an off vibe the second I sat down in the back room. Heard they were only hiring 1 maybe 2 people in the interview. The manager was mentioning someone flying back and forth from here and apparently that was from another group interview for this position. I knew then that I probably wouldn’t get hired. They only wanted to offer me 1 maybe 2 four hour shifts per week. Honestly that is nothing but I decided to go on the interview anyways. Questions were easy and kind of given out to anyone that wanted to answer them. I answered pretty much all the answers. They made us do a styling session to put an outfit together and then told us to leave. Bad energy honestly. I should have left half way through. I knew I wouldn’t be getting hired. I have 8-9 years experience working in retail. Maybe they didn’t hire me because I’m looking for more hours. Whole interview took an hour and I heard back via email the following night that they went with other candidates. I also noticed that the store was pretty busy and the manager was in the back the entire time and only 1 sales associate was taking care of the 10 customers in the store by herself. I feel like they need to hire more than 1 person.
