Four weeks of interviews, 3.5 hours total with the recruiter, hiring manager, product manager, engineering manager and a 45 minute whiteboarding exercise. After a week I contacted the recruiter and they decided not to move forward with the entire position, or so they say. If that's true its a huge waste of time. If not it's a shame they felt like they couldn't be honest that there was a candidate who better served their needs. Either way I this speaks volumes about how they treat candidates and future employees.
