lots of skill testing questions. many behavioural and personality questions. any answer i gave was probed for more detail. for example... what would you do if? how would you get around x problem?

Question 1
How are you going to work on something that is newly established, ie no one else can guide you through?
Three rounds of interviews with your (potential) senior mentor.
First round was asking your background and education, why you want to apply for this position. A task was set due to present in a few days.
Second round was about your topic with slides and presentation. The interviewer would leave comments and ask questions regarding it.
Third round was about job title and basic salary (not including bonus), promotion opportunities, duties to cover etc. Offer was almost certain at that time.

Interview
It was a nice experience. The HR picked me from the front door at the appointed time. We had a smooth conversation on my past skills and future career planning.
