I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (Houston, TX)
Interview
I filled out an application online. It's a good idea to visit the hotel and/or call to express interest in the opportunity. I also had the benefit of a Marriott employee referral.
I was called in by the assistant general manager to interview and then completed a second interview with the general manager.
I was hired from there and determined my start date as well as filled out new hire paperwork.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about my work history. They wanted to ensure I was worth hiring. Overall, I wasn't sure the AGM was interested in hiring me due to his very cut and dry approach.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International (Bristol, TN) in May 2025
Interview
It was a pretty quick and straightforward process. I applied online, and I had an interview a week later. I went to the interview, did my background check, and a week later I got hired and started my onboarding process.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
An application and online assessment, via the marrriott website. After this you set up an in-person interview on site.
However, it is an incredibly unprofessional and disorganized set up. Interviews typically happen after the scheduled time or are cancelled last minute. Very little appropriate introduction to the company's expectations for the role.

Interview
Very smooth and easy process from start to finish. They asked basic interview questions then situational questions. My first interview was with HR then the Front Office Team, then the General Manager.
