Interview
I only got to the behavioural round. I probably was more "true to myself and honest" than I should've been. Asked me about a recent project I've worked on, a time I struggled on a task, where I get my latest technology updates from, etc
Travelled from Scotland to the London office on short notice for the interview despite the pandemic. Completed a technical test and a group exercise and was turned away at lunchtime — the position is competitive, so fair enough.
However, they then took well over seven weeks to reimburse my travel + hotel costs that they reassured me would be covered. There’s been times when going weeks without hundreds of pounds like that would have ruined me. They told me repeatedly that I could expect it by so-and-so date that came and went. In the end, they didn't even cover all my costs after haggling over tube receipts. Bear in mind this is a company that handles billions in funds. Immensely disrespectful.
