I discovered this job via craigslist. I emailed them my resume. I was contacted by email several hours later and after a few exchanges was asked to come in and interview the next day. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was asked to fill out an official application before the interview would begin. The interview itself was probably one of the easiest I've ever encountered. Granted, I went in there with years of front desk experience under my belt, so perhaps I already had an edge. I don't recall anything difficult about the interview. It was the manager and her assistant manager who conducted the interview and it was very, very laid back. They then asked me to come in the following day for what they call a "walk a mile", which is essentially their way of having you come in and observe the other employees in the day-to-day operations of the spa (to give you an idea of what to expect and whether you think you'd enjoy it or be a good fit). I only stayed for about 90 minutes before letting them know I found the atmosphere as a whole very relaxing, albeit sometimes hectic (in a good way). They then had me fill out some paperwork giving them permission to run a background check on me. This was done on a Thursday. I received a call the following Monday with a job offer which, to my surprise, included the salary I asked for in the official application. I accepted.
