Interview
Online assessment -
2 coding questions, 1hr
Interview-
1. Technical round 1 (20-50min)
Started with my introduction, followed by one dsa question which was to check is two strings were anagram. OOPS question, explain polymorphism with example. DBMS question, explain ACID properties. Explain my project and the reason behind the tech stack I used.
2. Technical round 2 (50min)
Started with him going through my resume. First he asked a system design like question which was basically how lift works, later he simplified the question to only one user using the lift and I was able to solve the simplified one. Next was puzzle where there were two bulbs inside a room and two switches outside the room and you can enter the room only once, you need to identify which switch belongs to which switch. Then he modified the question to multiple variations like 3 bulbs 1 switch, 3 bulb 3 switch, 2 bulbs 3 switch. Next he asked me questions related to my project, database, various operations in api. At last he asked my some hr like questions from my resume like, my family background, related to 10th & 12th and college current cgpa, position of responsibility and hobbies.
3. HR (10-15min)
Started with my introduction followed by some basic hr questions like why finance firm, then why mastercard. Then he dicussed if the role and compensation. Then he aksed questions related to my family background and position of responsibility.
Verdict: I was selected.
I had two interviews.
The first one the interviewer didn't turn on there camera which I thought was rude.
On the second interview only one of the interviewers turned on the camera.
Both interviews mumbled and didn't have the best microphones.
I was cut off mid sentence when answering questions.
When they asked questions they would look around as if the interview process was a hassle for them.
Generally I found the behaviour to be completely un-professional.
