      Interview

Very simple, straight to the point review process. Background check is performed and interview as to why you want to work for Mathnasium is given. You receive a math assessment that can take 2 or more hours to complete after that interview. From there, if your score is good enough and you've left a good impression you get a job offer. On accepting, you then undergo training in the form of videos showcasing how instructors do things at Mathnasium. From there, you'll start to do the hands-on work by shadowing other instructors while being handed 1-2 students to work with yourself to get you adjusted. On busy days, you'll likely handle 4 students at once, but instructors will often do their best to prevent this from happening to you if you're new and still getting the hang of things.

      Interview

When I interviewed at Mathnasium, I first had a short phone call about my background. Then I went in for a math test and a short interview. They asked how I’d explain problems to students and watched me do a sample tutoring session.
