The first interview was on campus, they told me they loved me so much they would bring me to Virginia to interview right away. After 6+ months of back and forth, at one point scheduling an interview in the office and never following up, they FINALLY booked my travel to have me interview in person. Once I was there, the interview was awful. I come from a public health background, majored in global health, and only had internships in the healthcare industry. Near the end of the interview the staff member (who had his face in my resume and barely made eye contact with me the entire 30 minutes we talked), finally asked me why I was even interested in this role because my resume didn’t scream “healthcare” to him. I was so shocked, I had only stayed after the company because I was so excited by what they did and my initial energizing conversations, to make it to the interview and be sorely disappointed by its team members. After the interviewer left no one came to me for another 20+ minutes, so I left the room to find the receptionist who was like “ya you can go”. I got a call 30 minutes later apologizing to me for how unprofessional it was they let me leave without someone saying goodbye and escorting me off the campus. I wouldn’t work here, it’s a disaster.
