The Process: Outreached and interviewed by a recruiter and moved to the final stage (2.5-hour on-site including a tour, another interview, and an assessment).
The Pros: The recruiter and tour-related staff on-site were professional and welcoming.
The Cons: Communication was disorganized. The recruiter attempted to schedule a prep call on a Sunday for a Monday interview. More importantly, there was a major disconnect regarding the assessment. Despite being told a supply chain/equipment background wasn't necessary due to their 6-month training program, the assessment was heavily technical.
The Verdict: It is disappointing to invest significant time during the holidays only to be tested on knowledge I was told wasn't required. To improve, the recruiting team should ensure the "no experience needed" messaging aligns with the actual evaluation criteria. Additionally, providing high-level feedback after a lengthy on-site interview should be standard practice.
