1 HR interview 2 technical interviews one with the team member and another with the lead/architect 1 with SVP of Engineering. The first 3 interviews went well. We talked about the product and role of the developer and also technical experience of mine Here comes the final interview. All 3 interviews were on Zoom video and it went well. The third one is with the SVP of the company and I was told it is final and non-technical interview. 1. It was audio call, how would you get to know about a candidate on audio? that too in a final round 2. In 40 mins of interview the call disconnected 7-8 times. Like all through the call I was keep asking if he could hear me. 3. It was completely technical that too on high level. The role is for 3-4 years experienced and the questions were either so naive ( like he has never read my CV ) or for 10+ years experienced. He simply asked to brief my experience and asked questions in Java whereas the role is for NodeJs developer. 4. The interview was scheduled one week before but still he went on to pickup his daughter during the interview and kept talking to her not even asking me to wait or go on mute. 5. Overall I could see other team members being professional but not SVP of the company which is really shocking.
