I interviewed at Medline Industries (Kansas City, MO)
Interview
Wish I could describe an interview or any form of human communication, but Medline's recruitment team/HR seems to be entirely automated. I received a no-reply email stating, "thanks for applying, we'll let you know if you'll be considered" after an extensive 12 page online application process. I requested an update 2 weeks later, and was told through the automated system that I would hear from a recruiter regardless. Fast-forward another 3 weeks; another no-reply email saying "we've considered your credentials and will not be pursuing your candidacy at this time." Had I felt in any way under-qualified, I never would have applied, but seeing as current reps came from non-sales related backgrounds whereas I have a proven history of successful capital sales, I felt strong about my candidacy.
In our rapidly increasing digital world, humanizing the talent acquisition process is infinitely valuable. Medline is the only medical organization I've ever pursued in my career search without a recruiter reaching out to me first based on their interest in my competitive sales background. I'm a guy who greatly appreciates the value in constructive criticism, so I'm here to pay it forward by offering this review for Medline's team and future applicants.

Interview
Went through multi-layered interviews, full product knowledge, and documented years of relationship building. Boilerplate rejection email. "At this time, we are not moving forward in the process as there are other candidates who more closely align with the needs of the team". Medline is still recruiting for the job XX months later. I guess I wasn't young enough.
3-4 rounds of interviews first with recruiter, then direct manager, regional manager and finally the VP. It can be lengthy as they need time to collaborate with one another and it doesn’t seem like a major priority.
Entretien passé dans la cafétéria d’une station essence sur une aire d’autoroute! Peu professionnel et non respect de la confidentialité. Le manager pose des questions discriminantes telles que: âge, situation familiale, âge des enfants.
