Amateur HR Recruiter. Gave 3 rounds of interviews - Tech interview by Offshore team - Telephonic Tech interview by Onshore team - Skype video Managerial interview - F2F All went really well. I was selected. Worst part was the "NEGOTIATION" Since initial discussions, HR was happy with my expectations & he didn't ever told me that it is not possible for them. So I thought even in worst case they shall offer me standard hike. But to my surprise, after all the interview rounds they told me that they can't give more than my current CTC. I was completely shocked & couldn't resist myself asking them "why did you then wasted my time as well as yours if you cannot offer me more than what I am getting right now?" But there was no response. Bottom Line - Amateur HR process. Big communication gap between hiring management & HR wrt compensation range. No communication after interview - I had several follow ups to get some response.
