First Round:
HR/Phone Screening Interview, they called out of the blue with no email (Glad I was ready!).
Second Round:
Hiring Manager Behavior Interview, asked basic scenario and how I code.
Third Inteview:
Lead Developer Technical Interview, no coding question as he didn't believe that was the best way to see a developer's skillset. Asked questions such as "What is HTTP", "How do you code an API", "What would you do this x scenario if y happens".
Overall it was an easy interview, I thought I had nailed it since the Lead Developer was assuring me I was in the final stages and they had to decide soon. Unfortunately, a "last internal candidate" applied, and so they had to interview said-person.
I even went over the time frame (instead of 30 minutes, it was 1 hour and 30 minutes) of the interviews as the lead developer thought it was good that I knew my materials.
Never got a "Sorry, we went with another candidate". Feel like their HR needs to be more communicative, because both the Hiring Manager and Lead Developer had to apologize for no communication.
