Applied online and received a phone interview, later an in person interview. They told me they were going to make a decision by the end of the week. After a week, I called for an update. Was told by recruiter that they were still making a decision. Another week passed by and was given an offer. The recruiter proceeded to tell me that we had to schedule a different call for the offer details...what?? We scheduled for a date and time, and she had to reschedule both times. When finally was given a 3rd date/time, she ended up no showing the call. The following day I emailed and left her a vm. She did call me and came up with some excuse about not making it. After I thought we had finally made some type of progress on the offer, she informed me that my new hire paperwork would take a couple of days to be emailed. At this point I was very frustrated with the whole candidate experience. The fact that I would be working with the recruiting team once I came onboard made me realize how disorganized they were and what I would be facing in the future.
Luckily I received a job offer with another company and took it. As past reviewers mentioned, it takes a month to come onboard and now I know why. I emailed Memorial Hermann to tell them that I was withdrawing and they emailed me right away to confirm the withdraw. FYI...the other company was quick with the job offer and I received my new hire paperwork and passed the background process in 2 days. I probably would have still be waiting for my job offer to be emailed from Memorial Hermann if I stayed with them.
