I went through 6 different interviews over 7 weeks. It started with a One-way interview, then panel interview, hiring manager, director, and two separate client interviews. Seemed like an insane amount of interviews, but figured they were just being thorough. Then they went silent for almost two weeks. After sending a few follow up emails I received an automatic response "We moved forward with someone else" email. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, thinking I had to be close to an offer, but the kicker for me was how quickly they dismissed me and my time/investment in the process. A simple five-minute phone call with feedback would have sufficed. I will never refer people to this team again and will share my experience freely. I know companies feel like they have the power in our current climate, but you don't treat people like this.
