I was contacted for an interview via The Fall Recruiting Consortium through my college. I had a fairly casual interview. It began with the recruiter explaining the history of MSKCC and providing more information about the Session Assistant position. After that, he then asked fairly basic interview questions, such as "Why did you choose your major" or "What role do you take on in group situations?". He then asked behavioral based questions. The interviewer was very friendly and not intimidating at all. I guess the only bad thing about this process is that I had to wait 5 months to schedule a final interview because they usually like to make final decisions closer to college grads' graduation date. The final interview consisted of a typing test, transcription test, a brief meeting with the HR representative, and two interviews with the hiring managers. MSKCC emphasizes teamwork so be prepared to have two managers conducting the interview together. They asked a fairly long list of questions, but they were standard interview questions. Everyone that I met was extremely professional and friendly.
