human resources called me for an interview and when i had the interview, they asked questions like why long beach memorial, what are my strong points and weaknesses. i was given an option whether to be on 3E and 6W , i eventually was accepted at 6W medical stepdown and worked for them for 5 great years.

It was a long process in terms of wait time from when I submitted my application to the interview. I interviewed with the manager and director of the unit. It's easier to get the interview if someone refers you who already works there.

Virtual with manager. Very casual, laid back, no annoying nursing behavior questions. She was very personable and just had a normal conversation. She wanted to know my prior experience, current certifications, the kinds of patients I have worked with in past.

Applied via organization's career page, director of the department of choice reached out via email and arranged a 30 minute in-person interview. Heard back from the director about a week later and written offer was sent by HR.
