I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mercy (Saint Louis, MO) in Jan 2018
Interview
First, I received a call for a phone interview which lasted about 5 minutes. I was then invited to an in-person interview in the HR building. After the interview I took a 20 question basic math test (Really easy), Lastly, I went to Mercy hospital to meet with the hiring manager. This meeting lasted about 15 minutes. I was offered the job 20 minutes after the interview! Really easy experience.

Interview
Apply online, HR contacts you by phone and goes over the position and schedules an interview if they feel you’d be a good fit. You’ll do an interview with HR and then the nurse manager for the floor. Usually you’ll get a call within a couple days.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercy (Springfield, MO) in Oct 2013
Interview
The online application was basic. There is a Mercy Fit Test after submitting the application that asks situational questions and personality questions ("On a scale of 1 to 10, how caring are you.") that takes approx. 25 minutes to complete. The manager will call to set up the interview. The interview consisted of some basic questions and some situational questions. It lasted about 20-30 minutes and was only with the manager of the floor that I applied to. No skills testing beforehand. Pretty harmless.
You have a patient that wants coffee, a patient that needs to go to the bathroom, and a nurse that needs help with a dressing change. How do you prioritize?
