I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Merkle (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2018
Interview
I interviewed for Chicago office. I had 2 telephone interviews and was called in for a final interview. This was cancelled 1 day before the final day. Because, the hiring manager did not understand the visa i was on. Imagine the ignorance and unprofessional irony that people from HR themselves do not know about visas. When i was told i can work with any employer in USA without sponsorship, i also sent a copy of my EAD to them, the team did not even bother to reply back. I sent an email to the hiring Manager and Recruiter twice, but they were so unprofessional and rude, they did not even reply.
I would suggest the company invest in educational classes of their employees and actually teach them how to do their job, not only in communication skills, but also basics of job (different types of visa, how the visas function, etc.)
I felt extremely discriminated by this company. I would have been completely fine being rejected on the basis of qualifications or experience etc, but rejecting me because they neither understood my visa, nor did they try to give me a chance to explain, extremely unprofessional.
These people have a one track mind and they denied an opportunity to a deserving person even to interview. I would never recommend anyone to even apply here. They don't have value for human workforce.
