I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Meta (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Was called onsite directly as I was local to Cambridge, MA.
A Sr. Engineer interviewed. He was welcoming and willing to help.
It was a typical white board coding interview.
Very professional and very helpful.
Recruiter called and asked me to come onsite as the position was local.
They gave responses very quick.
I said to my interviewer that I am not interested in web development but interested in back end (may be its a mistake, as its facebook).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Find the indices of max. value in a large array and return them.
The technical round hit me with a classic array manipulation problem: moving zeroes to the end without disrupting the order of non-zero elements. As I tackled it, I felt a wave of familiarity wash over me; I had just practiced a similar challenge on PracHub. The rest of the interview followed a straightforward path, with some easy behavioral questions sprinkled in. Overall, it felt very easy, but I wasn’t quite the right fit for what they needed, so I didn’t receive an offer.
