Application:
Internal referral by a friend in the end of October. After the referral, I received a phone interview invitation from HR after 5 days.
Interview Process:
I had my phone screen with HR first. HR asked me some basic interview questions. My HR was very friendly and nice, and very quick replied my email and answered all of my questions. Three days later, I received an invitation to have a video interview with a researcher. It was a great interview experience. I was asked one SQL command question, and then some hypothesized questions. This interviewer asked very good and deep questions, which requires a lot of thinking. After this video interview, I was informed that I would be invited to onsite interview after thanksgiving. I love facebook, and I believe it would be an awesome place to work. However, I received another job offer before thanksgiving, and I have to make decision very quick. Therefore, I had to decline this onsite interview opportunity.

Why facebook? HR also asked me some questions related to my previous experience in user experience research.
Interviewer:
SQL question: What command you will use to merge two datasets? How?
Hypothesized questions: If you are going to investigate the search function at Facebook, how do you do it? How to measure it? How do you measure the users' satisfaction? If the survey did not show satisfaction difference between two search algorithms, what you will do?

Interview
Phone screen followed by virtual interview with hiring manager followed by full loop (several interviews on a single day). The recruiter was very helpful in targeting the right role. The hiring manager was quite rude and asked bad questions that could not really have helped assess qualifications for position.

Three rounds, HR call + First round 45mins + Superday (four 1v1 interviews), They provide useful materials to prepare the interview which basiclly cover everything they gonna ask during the interview.

Interview
You have an initial interview, followed by a 4 hour 'full loop' interview. It's quite a difficult process and the interviews are mainly back-to-back. It's not really a 2 step process as the second step is 4 45 min interviews.
