Meta Senior Software Engineer V interview questions

Mostly focused on coding. Very little non-technical time. Strong focus on clarifying requirements, clean design, and writing production-quality code rather than tricky algorithms. Medium-level difficulty, but expectations around communication and code quality were high. The process felt smooth and positive overall; the interviewer seemed happy with my answer. But the recruiter later said I was rejected at the hiring committee stage. Not sure why.
