Micro Center interview questions

I got asked to do a phone interview about a week after I applied. It was pretty straight forward and none of the questions caught me off guard. The guy interviewing liked being asked questions, so don't be afraid to ask if you have any. Afterwards I did two online exams - one was a 12 minute timed IQ test and the other was an ethics/personality test. This was weird. it seemed like a bit much for a retail job. After that I got called in to do an in-person interview with the General Sales Manager and the Store GM. Both seemed like nice people but the job started to reek of corporate sleeze. Heavily pushed metrics on me and how important it was for me to make sure customers hand over their personal info and buy warranty plans. They had a funny euphemism for the warranty plans too - I wish I could remember it. I love the store, but I decided the sales/retail company culture wasn't for me, so I declined the job.

You start off with a group interview, afterwards, you'll take a wonderlic test, and a character test. Implying both go well, you'll have a personal interview. If that goes well, welcome to Micro Center.
