I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microchip Technology (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Very comfortable interview. Talked to 3 engineers and a HR representative. They asked questions based on System Verilog, C and C++, Python, creating logic gates with transistors, and general experience in computer architecture.

Interview
Can match with many teams, many potential interviews scheduled on the same day, teams will be picked based on your skill set, be prepared to answer C based questions based on your role.
Interview had general digital design questions and a bit of system verilog and fsm design. Bit of c++ and perl scripting as well. Nothing related to python. Fsm was a sequence detector question
There were no pressure and they were welcoming. My interview took little bit over than 2 hours. I got interviewed by three people (HR Manager, Engineering Manager, Technician Team Leader). After the interview they told me they will reach back to me after a week. Surprisingly they didn't considering how went well the interview process and its been almost 2 weeks. I e-mailed them for a follow-up multiple time however never got a reply from them.
