Very difficult not to have a bad taste in your mouth as the process was long, disheveled and nonsensical. I will take some of the responsibility as I determined these issues in the early happenings but still decided to proceed.
Was originally contacted by one of their internal recruiters who left a message. I called her back and was greeted a full voicemail box. I tried again a couple of days later with the same outcome. I eventually texted and got in contact.
The next couple of months were actually quite enjoyable albeit not terribly well managed - i.e. I enjoyed the personalities with the recruitment and sales management players - but the constant changes of interview times/dates and even the actual personnel seemed unorthodox at best.
Long story short, after many weeks, many interviews - all with positive feedback, and many canceled interviews by the CRO, I was told they were no longer interested. I never actually got to interview with the CRO. And this decision was apparently made by one of my first interview players. And No, that didn't make sense to me either.
I actually spoke to the original recruiter after the conclusion and while she seemed frustrated and confused by the outcome, she did not seem surprised.
