I had a highly disappointing interview experience with Monarch. I felt strung along for 45 minutes by the recruiting leader, who demonstrated a surprising lack of diligence and empathy in their approach. As a leader, I expected more thoughtfulness, but instead, I received an auto-generated rejection email less than 24 hours later, which felt impersonal and dismissive. The leader also seemed excessively focused on JobDiva ATS, showing little understanding of alternative options. It became clear that they were operating within a comfortable bubble, lacking awareness of more current and diverse tools in the recruiting space. Overall, the experience left me unimpressed with the leadership's perspective and hiring process. UPDATE: I received email correspondence almost a month from the recruiting leader to hop on a call, and the request was to either revised or take down my review. I decided to update and shed light here for everyone to see. -------- I fully stand by what I shared on Glassdoor, as it was an honest reflection of my experience. If the conversation had been a true exchange of thoughts, there would have been space for both of us to contribute, and I would have welcomed constructive feedback on the spot. Instead, it felt one-sided, and this follow-up only reinforces that perception. Gaslighting me into taking down my feedback doesn’t align with professional standards of transparency and integrity. I won’t be revising my review based on your passive aggressive feedback.
