Great experience! Applied on line and got contacted the day after. First you get a screening call with a person from HR about your experience, Why Customer Success and Why mongoDB and how your profile meets the requirements for the role. Then I had three more rounds with the director, a line manager and a Senior Customer Success Manager. During those rounds they asked questions related to past experience, a bit of product and ecosystem knowledge and more about why mongoDB and why the role. The last round was a challenge in which you need to invest a few hours preparing. It is basically a role play in which you do present the different services included in the subscription the customer has signed up, ask questions about their project and needs to get more information and then make a quick demo of Atlas. You receive a sample deck and quite a bit of information in advance so do not panic! I recommend to invest around 8-12 hours of preparation to get familiarised with the concepts and prepare potential Q&A. DO NOT spend too much time to get into very technical requirements or details because it is not needed for this role play, rather have a clear understanding about what the different services do and why it is beneficial for customers to get them, then when you identify a pain point, you can straight match it with a solution. the presentation lasts for around 40 mins, then 10 mins Q&A and then 10 mins of valuable feedback about your performance.
Wanted to mention that the whole process was very smooth and clear. The HR person who handled the whole process was extremely efficient and helpful and the process took around 3 weeks so quite quick.
