MongoDB has an overall reputation as being a great company but this interview process went from stellar to abysmal very quickly. There were many steps, over 8, and a long period of time of a couple of months. I then was asked to prepare a 90 minute final presentation, which took over 30 hours to complete to then being completely ghosted before I could deliver the presentation. Absolute waste and no care for interviewees time.
Process is 7 steps. It is very challenging and time intensive but very rewarding when you get accepted. The communication throughout was very professional and I knew what each step had in store for me.

Interview process was extremely challenging but very worth the time and effort. MongoDB impressed me the way they vet out each candidate to make sure they find the right person for the specific role they interview for to set that person and the company up for success.
