Not bad, there were four technical interview rounds where each round they asked a question regarding coding and explaining my answer. But it was mostly just coding and algorithm and system design questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB
Interview
Many interviews. Something like 6 hours all in all.
Pretty surprised because ALL the interviews went pretty well, I even finished a couple interviews before the allowed time (because I solved the problem that was asked, and answered all the interviewer's questions)... and yet I didn't get an offer after such a lengthy interview process.
Overall the interviewers were passionate and nice. (one exception though)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Some really low-level questions that are totally unrelated to the internship position I was interviewing for. I think I answered correctly, but it still was unexpected.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at MongoDB (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jan 2026
Interview
Total 5 rounds highly tiring. First round is phone screen followed by a karat technical round(DSA + CS fundamentals). Then 2 technical rounds about projects, previous experience + more DSA. Finally last HR round.

Interview
Recruiter reached out after seeing my CV, and scheduled an initial call. Later got interviewed with Karat which asked leetcode easy/medium questions, which I didn't do so well on due to pressure.
