Interview
A few hours after submitting my application, a technical recruiter reached out to me asking for a phone call in 2 days. The recruiter was great and was much more of a conversation than a typical phone screen which I greatly appreciated. At the end of the phone interview, the recruiter said that she would get back to me either the next day or the day following. The next morning she sent me an email asking to set up a 45 minute - 60 minute phone screen with a Program Manager 2 or 3 weeks out since the engineering team was busy the entire next week.
On the Monday of the first week that they were available, I had my phone interview with a program management lead. The interviewer was very nice and asked me a good variety of questions that were related to the job such as my experience with software tools as well as my organizational skills.
I sent a thank-you note a few hours later with the recruiter responding almost immediately saying that she would get back to me once decisions were made in a few days. On Wednesday afternoon, I received an email stating that they would not be moving forward in the process with me. Although I did not receive an offer the process was extremely prompt with expectations on what the interview process and what the role required stated clearly.
