      Solution Architect Interview

      Oct 18, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Monks in Oct 2022

      Interview

I only got to the first step. They asked me to record an asynchroous (recorded) interview. At that point I started reading the reviews on Glassdoor. If a company is not willing to spend time of an actual human resource right off the bat with me, why should I waste my own time? They are probably just watching the first 10 seconds of each recorded introduction and having hundreds of candidates do the same, instead of taking time with each candidate and providing some constructive feedback. I also wouldn't do any unpaid work. Having candidates do real work during the intervew process makes the company looks like a scam.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with TheoremOne TheoremOne uses Asynchronous interviews in some of our hiring processes. We do this for a few reasons: 1. We believe in Asynchronous operation 2. We are a fully distributed company with team members from UTC +2 through UTC -7. On a project, we look to align time zones as much as possible, but during the hiring process, we want to ensure that you do not need to bend your schedule to our needs. 3. We believe in inclusion and equality. Not everyone is a good test taker, and some neurodiverse candidates struggle with in-person interviews. Our async interview gives three chances to respond before you choose what you want to submit. TheoremOne team members watch all submitted videos when evaluating our async interviews to rate a candidate's response alignment with our structured rubrics. TheoremOne always uses hypothetical situations and assets in our evaluation processes. Christopher Clark Head of Talent Acquisition
