I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moog Inc. (Blacksburg, VA) in May 2010
Interview
I got a phone call directed to my mobile from an engineer at the company. The phone call was a screening interview. I then was selected for an on site interview. I then beat out the competition!
First round online over Zoom. Very kind engineers asking about past research and problem-solving. Rejected about a month after first round interview. Not explicitly technical but asked to explain my labwork and went into detail about some characterization equipment.

Interview
it was a phone screen, guy called me and explains the position and other things to expect for the technical interview. Smooth process but after explaining that Im an international, inteviewer lost interest and never contacted me again.
The interview process consisted of three separate hour-long interviews. Overall, the interview was very conversational and was a survey of your knowledge and project experience. There was ample opportunity to ask the interviewers questions about their position, so come prepared with questions to ask. Also be prepared to answer questions about projects on your resume.
