Interviewed for an IS Engineer positon. Phone interview with Recruiting Manager, Margaret. Never experienced a phone interview where the questions were asked and then answered by the interviewer. Apparently she must have liked her responses since I made it to the next round with the IS hiring manger. Great interview but “needed permission from HR” for the next steps. Followed up several times with HR and received no response via my emails and/or phone calls. IS commented this this is usual practice with HR and IS receives “the run around” on a daily basis. Took another positon. Hard to believe that some organizations do not do the basic things right..
