Interview
I applied for a job and had an interview at the hiring fair. I had my first interview on a Tuesday and was told I would be contacted within 48 hours. I received a call from a branch manager that Thursday and scheduled my second interview for the next day, which was Friday. The interview was an hour long. It consisted of myself, the branch manager, and the assistant branch manager. I was told I would receive a response by Tuesday, but didn’t receive a response until Friday evening. I was told that a manager got the position, but that they wanted to keep me and offered a teller position.
What personalities do you work best with? We are trying to figure out what types of co-workers you would get along with. (They gave examples of coworkers who are happy, lazy, negative, etc).
What would you bring to the branch that would set you apart from others? What would you do to make employees refer you rather than a good friend they’ve known for ten years? (Points for creativity).
Tell us what you would do in this situation: Your manager instructs you to do something the complete opposite of what you learned in training. How would you respond to that?
It was welcoming and open. They were transparent on their expectations of me and what I would be doing in my role. Overall it was a great process and I enjoyed it
