Two 30 min phone calls, a 3ish hour in person, and a CEO interview. The manager was extremely open and positive, very easy to get in touch with and answer any question. Everyone I met in person really talked about how much they love the company and why they came here and why they stayed. That more than anything convinced me this was the company and I wanted to be a part of and I'm glad I made that decision.

I applied online for the role. I had a phone conversation with the hiring manager on a Tuesday. It was a very pleasant and informative conversation. I was told I would hear back about next steps by end of week. I hadn't heard back, so I followed up exactly one calendar week later. Unfortunately, I never received a response or update. It has now been two weeks since I sent my follow up and still radio silence. As a recruiter, I don't even mind being ghosted by recruiters/ companies because that is the quickest way to determine that an organization is not a good fit for me. However, I hope that the hiring team displays a bit more empathy towards candidates than in this scenario.
