I interviewed with this company and the overall experience was very pleasant. The process was a little disjointed and confusing particularly the remote interviews were rushed and one sided. The interviewers just wanted to get through the questions. I never heard back after going through 5 rounds of interviews. This is always disappointing especially when you are told of a time frame that they will get back to you. It does not reflect true engagement. All the interviews were rushed and I was not able to get a complete picture and complete all questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not many interview questions. The style of the assessment is around what questions you have for the business. This is fine but in all the interviews I asked more than 20 questions and they asked 5 so the balance of assessment is questionable.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to hear you had an overall pleasant experience, but I sincerely apologize for the issues you raise. That is not in line with how we value the candidate experience. I agree that given how far along you got in the process, not hearing back is disappointing, and we should have had more focus on providing you with the feedback and experience you deserve. I will follow up with the team to make sure this doesn't happen again. All the best to you and thank you again for your feedback.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Was contacted by the Recruiter and had an initial phone interview. The next step was to have a phone call with the hiring manager and during that call was invited for onsite interviews. The onsite interviews consisted of meeting 4 people and took about 3 hours.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interviews were more conversational.. we discussed my experience.
The interview process was pretty normal. Phone screen then onsite. Everything went well for the most part. I wasn't chosen to move forward which is fine and understandable. However, one thing happened that I didn't like. One of the recruiters (when interviewing me) said my tactics were those of a little girl. Whether or not they agreed with my methods, its absolutely unfair to belittle me like that. After that, I just didn't care what happened.
