Interview
I applied online for a Recent Graduate Accountant position on the USAJOBS website in August 2016 and was called for an interview in December 2016. The interview was conducted in January via Skype with a panel of five people, all of which were middle/upper managers. The questions were behavior based and I prepped for a total of 8-10 hours for the interview questioning portion. I researched and studied 20-30 of the most popular behavior based questions to make sure I thoroughly understood how to answer the questions. I then practiced answering them so that they flowed in a very authentic and confident way. I focused on being myself, smiling, and being confident in my answers during the interview. Every question I studied, I was asked in the interview. Since my interview was via Skype, I also made sure to setup the perfect Skype interview environment-- lighting, background, clothes, hair, makeup-- you name it, I studied it!
