NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Mechanical Engineer interview questions

Interview Process was highly technical with multiple rounds of interviews. First a general get to know you screening using with a recruiter After you will be interviewed by some of Lead engineers on the team. They will ask technical questions but nothing like beam deflection etc, more trying to see your capacity to think outside the box, and innovate. Final round will be a technical presentation with multiple interviews with managers in the team and other stakeholders.

The onsite interview was all day. I met with numerous experienced engineers and they asked many challenging technical questions related to various sub-disciplines of mechanical engineering. Questions had to be answered with pencil and paper, white board, or verbally.
