NIH Bioinformatics Scientist interview questions

I had an initial phone interview round with the recruiter and it was great. Then he set up the second round. It was supposed to be a phone screen, but they sent me a video call on teams. The director and 8 other scientists were there. They ended up asking me so many questions about the theory of sequencing and bioinformatics. And they even had me code. I could do the first prompt no problem but the second one was intense. I felt like a grad student again going through a defense.
