Initially applied through LinkedIn and received a call from a recruiter to arrange a face to face interview. Interview consisted of meeting the recruiter and the head of department I was applying for. Both were very friendly. I was then called for a second round interview, with a different department head, who would be making the ultimate decision on which candidate would be selected. I had to return a third time as this person could not decide on a candidate, and I had to meet with the initial recruiter and department head again to present on an "assignment" I had been given. Having gone through all this, I was not offered the role as the other candidate's presentation was, in the recruiters words, "more flashy".
I have rated this as negative. The people I met there, especially the recruiter, were very friendly. However, with no disrespect to them, the interview process was one of the most shambolic I've ever had to go through. I had to visit the site four times, as at the second round interview the interviewer never turned up and I was left sitting in the reception area for an hour with no word as to what was happening. I was told to go home and "we'd reschedule". After the second round interview I was told my chances were "very good" and that I would receive the result of the interview a few days later. The result was: "we can't decide" and I had to complete an "assignment", which was never an outlined as a requirement of the recruitment process at all. The whole process felt like it was thrown together at the last minute. While I wish them the best with their new hire, I will not be applying to this company again as the overall process left a nasty after-taste. Having to go to their offices four times (for three interviews) only to be told the other candidate's presentation got him the job as it was "flashy" was just ridiculous.
