      I went through the final rounds of interviews at NVIDIA for a contingent workforce role, both on the internal and vendor side. Things seemed to be going well, and I was optimistic—until I was suddenly declined. What made this experience particularly troubling was learning that an internal employee—someone I had a past personal history with—used their position to block my candidacy by sharing personal information. This wasn't just about missing out on a job at NVIDIA; it also created a false and damaging impression of me within the industry. Because this individual had a professional platform and a personal vendetta, they influenced not just NVIDIA's decision, but also how vendors and others in the contingent workforce space might see me. It’s disappointing to think that personal bias can have that kind of ripple effect on someone’s professional reputation and opportunities. Overall, it left me with a very negative impression of NVIDIA's internal handling of candidate privacy and professionalism. I hope they can address these kinds of issues so that future candidates are treated fairly and professionally.
